With regards to the 5 measures of competency, and with regards to your contributions summarised in the previous question, please describe why people should vote for you. Implementing a Robust Operating Model: Many members of the Cardano Confederation of Emerging Economies possess a wealth of experience in the blockchain industry, having either founded or contributed significantly to startups and projects within Web 3.0. They have successfully launched tokens, fostered vibrant communities, and established governance structures in their respective regions, providing them with invaluable insights into building robust operating models. Moreover, as pioneers in implementing innovative governance frameworks like sociocracy, they bring firsthand experience and strategic foresight to the table. Additionally, members have demonstrated their capability in organizing large-scale events and managing projects requiring meticulous planning and execution, such as the Cardano Summits, governance workshops, and Hackathons. Expertise in Credential Management & Security: As a consortium of Stake Pool Operators (SPOs), members manage secure credentials and ensure the operational security of their stake pools, maintaining the integrity and reliability of the network. Expertise in Constitutional Review and Deliberation: Two of the main circle members (Mercy Fordwoo and Jose De Gamboa) have been part of the team that drafted the interim constitution and are currently drafting the first version of the Cardano Constitution that will be sent to the community for consultation and ratification. That experience gives us the unique position of having not just the written word of the document but also all the considerations, and variables that were part of the construction of it and gives us a vantage point for any edge cases that might arise. Knowledge of Voting Tools and CIP-1694: Numerous members actively participated in the design phase of CIP1694, contributing to workshops held in both Edinburgh and Colorado, and facilitating in-person and virtual sessions. Their deep involvement underscores their familiarity with Cardano's governance processes, including the intricacies of tools and mechanisms associated with voting, as outlined in CIP-1694. This comprehensive understanding is pivotal for making informed decisions that resonate with the community's aspirations. Furthermore, early engagement with Intersect has provided many members with valuable insights into ecosystem voting tools and processes. Expertise in Communicating with the Community: Organizing community events, engaging with stakeholders, and fostering collaborative environments have honed their communication skills. They are committed to maintaining transparent and effective communication channels with the community.

Why is decentralized governance important to you? Decentralized governance has the challenge of keeping the balance between the ecosystem security and the ability to adapt to an ever changing environment. Efficiency, Efficacy and Integrity need to be taken care of in all corners of the governance system. Also decentralized governance is crucial as it ensures that power is distributed equitably among all stakeholders, preventing centralization and promoting transparency, accountability, and inclusivity. It empowers individuals and communities to have a say in decision-making processes, fostering innovation and trust within the ecosystem.

What perspective would you bring to the committee if successful? We represent 2.7 billion people (33% of world population) (109 countries) from the perspective of developing economies where adoption of blockchain technology could leapfrog economic opportunity and universal rights. We bring a holistic perspective that combines technical expertise, community engagement, and a deep understanding of governance processes. The Cardano Confederation of Emerging Economies includes developers, SPOs, community leaders, companies, and Cardano Ambassadors, ensuring a balanced and pragmatic approach to governance. This diverse representation ensures that the voices of various community members are heard and valued. Contributing to thought diversity within the constitutional Committee.
